馬太福音1:17「這樣，從亞伯拉罕到大衞，共十四代；從大衞到遷徙巴比倫，也是十四代；從遷徙巴比倫到基督，又是十四代。」
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations. (Matt. 1:17 KJV.)
