Bad Rex! – by Robert Rosen
Illustrated by Chiara Fiorentino
Leaves are all over the garden.
Brody needs to rake the leaves.
He gets the rake.
He rakes up all the leaves.
Rex looks at the pile.
He jumps into the pile.
“You bad dog!” said Brody.
Rex runs into the house.
Star shaped leaves are on the shed.
Fan shaped leaves are on the swings.
Round leaves are on the slide.
Leaves are everywhere!
Brody rakes the leaves again.
His cat climbs down the tree.
She wants to sleep.
She curls up on the leaves.
Rex comes outside.
He looks at the pile.
“Don’t jump in the leaves!” said Brody.
Rex doesn’t listen.
Uh-oh! He jumps in!
He scares the cat.
The cat runs back up the tree.
“I give up.
Let’s play together!” said Brody.
