It is a beautiful spring day.
Jake and Lucy go to the park.
“Wow, the park looks so pretty,” said Lucy.
“Look at all the colors,” said Jake.
Lucy looks at the flower garden.
“Look over there. There are so many flowers!” said Lucy.
Lucy hears a noise. 
She looks around.
“What is that noise? Is a bird singing?” Lucy asked.
Jake looks into a tree.
“I see a nest!”
“Wow, there are some baby birds!”
The babies look hungry.
“Where is their mother? “asked Jake.
“Look, there is their mother, “ said Jake.
“She has some worms for her babies,” said Lucy.
The mother bird feeds the babies.
Lucy watches them eat.
“Now I’m hungry,” said Lucy.
“Do you want some worms, too” asked Jake.
“Eww, no thank you!” said Lucy.
