1950年代，一位麻省理工的助教，替自己買了一套高級音響設備，然而音質卻奇差無比，花了一筆冤枉錢的他，決定自己動手做，他投入心力研究聲音呈現、人類對於聲音的感知，並結合自己原先電機的專業，打造出了一款劃時代的音響設備，如今這個品牌名稱已經成為了，高音質的代名詞，他就是保時捷、凱迪拉克等知名豪車都愛用的音訊設備品牌Bose
