Dr. Austin Changou is a molecular biologist, geneticist, and optical imaging expert who honed his trade at top-notch medical research institutions including Memorial Sloan-Kettering, UC Davis, and Stanford. While his own work examines the role of autophagosomes in cancer cell autophagy. In this episode, Dr. Changou, the director of TMU Core Facility Center, introduces the seven separate Cores that provide access to more than 40 highly specialized, and often expensive, research technologies.
