歡迎收聽「新南向暖暖包」!「新南向暖暖包」是由民間智庫臺灣亞洲交流基金會策劃,由「心陪有聲」製作的訪談性節目。

臺亞會一直極力於推動新南向政策,以「軟實力」和「暖實力」與東南亞社會開展文化藝術、學術智庫、青年領袖、區域韌性及公民社會各領域的友好關係。此七集小單元由七位臺亞會計畫主持人及同仁分享與東南亞工作相關的日常小知識、在各新南向政策國家工作的小趣事、親身經歷及所見所聞。

本集内容:究竟台灣有多少新住民?他們來自哪裡?以前總聽到別人說新住民都是「外籍新娘」,到底現在新住民群體的樣貌如何?伊婷將為大家一一解答,並介紹她喜歡的新住民聚落,邀請大家去吃東南亞料理!

貴賓:黃伊婷
黃伊婷現於財團法人臺灣亞洲交流基金會研究規劃部擔任助理研究員,負責公民社會鏈結計畫。伊婷於英國伯明罕大學取得猶太大屠殺碩士學位,關注國際人權議題、轉型正義及人道救援。
加入台亞基金會之前,曾擔任中央研究院社會學研究所第四屆台灣研究世界大會秘書,曾服務於國立台灣師範大學英語系,擔任《英語教學》及《同心圓:語言學研究》兩本英語期刊編輯助理。

臺大翻譯碩士學位學程碩士三年級生,主修中英會議口譯。來自香港,2017年畢業於香港中文大學翻譯系。

【Mini Episode 4: New Immigrants 101】
Welcome to New Southbound Warm Up Podcast ! New Southbound Warm Power Up is an interview-based program organized by the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation and produced by Hearwave Audio.

TAEF has long been dedicated to promoting the New Southbound Policy, using "soft power" and "warm power" to foster friendly relations with Southeast Asian societies across various fields, including culture, arts, academic think tanks, youth leadership, regional resilience, and civil society. To share the positive outcomes achieved over the years. The seven short mini episodes presents seven program directors and researchers from TAEF, each sharing daily insights related to their work in Southeast Asia, fun anecdotes from working in New Southbound Policy countries, and personal experiences and observations.

Episode Summary: How many new immigrants are there in Taiwan? Where are they from? In the past, people usually referred to “denizened brides” when mentioning new immigrants. What is the current status of the new immigrants? Evelyn will answer all the above mentioned questions, introduce her favorite settlements of new immigrants, and invite the listeners to taste some Southeast Asian cuisine!

**Guest: **Evelyn Huang
Evelyn Huang is an assistant research fellow at Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation and is in charge of the Foundation’s Civil Society Connectivity Program. Evelyn holds an M.A. degree in Holocaust and genocide studies from the University of Birmingham, UK. She has a keen interest in international human rights, transitional justice, and humanitarian aid.
Prior to joining TAEF, Evelyn worked as a secretary of the 4th World Congress of Taiwan Studies at the Institute of Sociology, Academia Sinica. She previously also served as an editorial assistant to two English academic journals, English Teaching and Learning and Concentric: Studies on Linguistics at the Department of English, National Taiwan Normal University.

Cherri was born and raised in Hong Kong. Having earned her Bachelor’s degree in Translation at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she is now studying Chinese-English Conference Interpreting at National Taiwan University’s Graduate Program for Translation and Interpreting.
