Celebration Church - Sermons

Romans 15–16 reminds us that the people we surround ourselves with shape our faith, character, and usefulness to God, calling us to imitate faithful servants, welcome and value others, recognize and avoid destructive influences, and honor those who support the work of the Gospel. As members of the body of Christ, we are not meant to serve alone but to grow together, give God the glory, and help one another shine His light into the world.Powered by Firstory Hosting

Romans 14 reminds us that when Christians disagree over disputable matters, we are called to pursue unity rather than judgment, honor rather than self-righteousness, and love rather than personal freedom. Instead of insisting on our own preferences or trying to win every argument, we should seek peace, serve others humbly, and consider how our choices can build up our brothers and sisters in Christ.Powered by Firstory Hosting

In this message, we explore how the names of God reveal His faithfulness to provide for us, bring us peace, shepherd and guide us, remain present in our struggles, and fight on our behalf. Above every name is the name of Jesus, and when we reach the end of ourselves and call on Him, we can trust that He will meet us in our circumstances with His power, presence, and sustaining grace.Powered by Firstory Hosting

Dr. Darnell Williams preaches on the powerful names and nature of God. He highlights how God acts as Jehovah Jireh (our provider), Jehovah Rapha (our healer), and Jehovah Nissi (our victory) whenever believers bring their needs forward in prayer.Powered by Firstory Hosting

Romans 13 challenges believers to faithfully participate in society by respecting authority, doing what is right, loving others, and reflecting the values of God’s Kingdom. As citizens of heaven, we can engage in the world without losing our honor, our witness, or our peace, remembering that our ultimate hope is found in Jesus, not in any political leader.Powered by Firstory Hosting
