In this series, I will talk about common idioms used in Taiwan. Today’s topic is “傻眼 shǎ yǎn”. It means someone is doing something or says something, which makes you think they are stupid or clueless. The used vocabulary as well as explanations are also attached below. Join me now!

－沒有想到事情會發生而產生的感覺
誇張 ㄎㄨㄚ ㄓㄤ / 夸张 kuāzhāng  / exaggerate
－讓事物超過原本的樣子或事實
予取予求 ㄩˊ ㄑㄩˇ ㄩˊ ㄑㄧㄡˊ  / 予取予求 yú qǔ yú qiú / unlimited request to others
－對別人沒有限制的要求
