德善章第四十九
聖人無常心，以百姓心為心。善者吾善之，不善者吾亦善之，德善。信者吾信之，不信者吾亦信之，德信。聖人在天下， 歙歙焉；為天下，渾其心。百姓皆注其耳目，聖人皆孩之。　

第 四 十 九 章
圣 人 常 无 心 ， 以 百 姓 心 为 心 。
善 者 ， 吾 善 之 ﹔ 不 善 者 ， 吾 亦 善 之 ﹔ 德 善 。 信 者 ， 吾 信 之 ﹔ 不 信 者 ， 吾 亦 信 之 ﹔ 德 信 。
圣 人 在 天 下 ， 歙 歙 焉 ， 为 天 下 浑 其 心 ，
百 姓 皆 注 其 耳 目 ， 圣 人 皆 孩 之 。


Dì sìshíjiǔ zhāng
shèngrén cháng wúxīn, yǐ bǎixìng xīn wéi xīn. Shàn zhě, wú shànzhī﹔ bùshàn zhě, wú yì shànzhī﹔ dé shàn. Xìnzhě, wú xìnzhī﹔ bùxìn zhě, wú yì xìnzhī﹔ dé xìn. Shèngrén zài tiānxià, shè shè yān, wéi tiānxià hún qí xīn, bǎixìng jiē zhù qí ěrmù, shèngrén jiē hái zhī.

49. People
The sage does not distinguish between himself and the world;
The needs of other people are as his own.

He is good to those who are good;
He is also good to those who are not good,
Thereby he is good.
He trusts those who are trustworthy;
He also trusts those who are not trustworthy,
Thereby he is trustworthy.

The sage lives in harmony with the world,
And his mind is the world's mind.
So he nurtures the worlds of others
As a mother does her children.

圣人没有一己之心，而是一心为了百姓的心。
良善的人，以良善待他；不良善的人，也以良善待他，从而结出良善的果子。
信实的人，以信实待他；不信实的人，也以信实待他，从而结出信实的果子。
圣人在天下，以其气息使人心浑然纯朴。百姓们全神贯注，凝视凝听，圣人则把他们当婴 孩看待。

聖人沒有一己之心，而是一心為了百姓的心。
良善的人，以良善待他；不良善的人，也以良善待他，從而結出良善的果子。
信實的人，以信實待他；不信實的人，也以信實待他，從而結出信實的果子。
聖人在天下，以其氣息使人心渾然純樸。百姓們全神貫注，凝視凝聽，聖人則把他們當嬰 孩看待。
