克寧老師和阿鍵老師前陣子一起吃了岡山風格的羊肉爐,但你知道其實台灣還有溪湖風格的羊肉爐嗎?除了羊肉爐,我們也聊到了薑母鴨、麻油雞等冬季進補三寶,以及全年無休的麻辣鍋和涮涮鍋。

The temperature has been fluctuating lately—have you been eating nourishing foods to keep warm? This week on English Cafe, Klim and I dive into Taiwan’s hot pot culture! From traditional herbal hot pots to modern shabu-shabu, from seasonal specialties to year-round favorites, they’ll discuss the wide variety of hot pot styles.

Recently, Klim and Jan enjoyed a Gangshan-style lamb hot pot together. But did you know Taiwan also has a Xihu-style lamb hot pot? In addition to lamb hot pot, they’ll explore Taiwan’s winter nourishment treasures like ginger duck and sesame oil chicken, as well as the ever-popular spicy hot pot and shabu-shabu that can be enjoyed all year long.
