不積章第八十一   
信言不美，美言不信。
善者不辯，辯者不善。
知者不博，博者不知。聖
人不積，既以為人已餘有，既以與人已愈多。
天下道，利而不害；聖人之道，為而不爭。

 第 八 十 一 章
信 言 不 美 ， 美 言 不 信 。
善 者 不 辩 ， 辩 者 不 善 。
知 者 不 博 ， 博 者 不 知 。
圣 人 不 积 ， 既 以 为 人 己 愈 有 ，既 以 与 人 己 愈 多 。
天 之 道 ， 利 而 不 害 ﹔圣 人 之 道 ， 为 而 不 争 。

Dì bāshíyī zhāng
xìn yán bù měi, měi yán bùxìn.
Shàn zhě bù biàn, biàn zhě bùshàn.
Zhì zhě bù bó, bó zhě bùzhī.
Shèngrén bù jī, jì yǐwéi rén jǐ yù yǒu, jì yǐ yǔ rén jǐ yù duō.
Tiān zhī dào, lì ér bù hài﹔shèngrén zhī dào, wéi ér bùzhēng.

Chapter 81
Sincere words are not fine; fine words are not sincere. Those
who are skilled (in the Tao) do not dispute (about it); the
disputatious are not skilled in it. Those who know (the Tao) are not
extensively learned; the extensively learned do not know it.
The sage does not accumulate (for himself). The more that he
expends for others, the more does he possess of his own; the more that
he gives to others, the more does he have himself.
With all the sharpness of the Way of Heaven, it injures not; with
all the doing in the way of the sage he does not strive.
 
實話總是不好聽，好聽的話大多不會是實話。
好人通常不能言善道，能言善道的大多不會是好人。
學海無涯，要專精就不能廣博，廣博就不可能專精。
聖人不會為自己累積私有財物。因為他懂得：為別人做事而互利，自己才會更加富有。
把東西給別人而互惠，自己才會擁有更多。
天道總是利益萬物而不傷害萬物，聖人之道為人謀福利而不爭私利。

实话总是不好听，好听的话大多不会是实话。
好人通常不能言善道，能言善道的大多不会是好人。
学海无涯，要专精就不能广博，广博就不可能专精。
因为他懂得：为别人做事而互利，自己才会更加富有。把东西给别人而互惠，自己才会拥有更多。
天道总是利益万物而不伤害万物，圣人之道为人谋福利而不争私利。
